WHAT IS READ A BOOK?

Read a Book was born in January of 2024 by Tanner Agpoon-Steinbock, Jack Rettig, and Sam Rettig with the goal to make simple T-Shirts with an array of sayings. 

But everybody makes t-shirts!

So what about us makes us, Us?

Well, we are figuring that out more everyday.

What we do know is that Read a Book is made for the folks that want to help make the world a better place. Read a Book wants to build a community of human beings. Read a Book doesn’t care much about physical traits, but what is inside of the person.  We want open-minded, knowledge-hungry, loving people.  We want individuals that care. 

Inspired heavily by the surroundings that Read a Book was conceived in, we aim to capture the beautiful essence of Southern California in all of our products. Designed, sourced, and hand screen-printed in Los Angeles, each piece is made with care and attention to detail.  

Read a Book does not want to stop with T-shirts.  Read a Book wants to be a living example of creating any and everything that comes to oneself.  Discarding self-constraining limits.  

We want to see what’s under the surface.  We want to connect.  We want to be in the present moment.  We want to always strive for better.
